Gregory LoveJoy Ncube a Bulawayo based artist popularly known by his stage name ” Gregory ” began his music career after finishing school when he joined Missing Piece , performing Arts under Desire Moyoxide of Victory Siyanqoba arts.
He got a recording deal at Psycho World Records and then he got signed at Mafletsini studios.In 2017 he produced an album titled ” Ng’cela Ling’ bambeni , In 2018 ” Uthando lwangempela” , In 2019 ” Asifuni Bumbulu” and in 2020 ” Ngamla”.
Gregory’s music is a fusion of what he calls Gree_ gee music.He mixes afro_ soul music and reggae to come up with his own sounds, which he produces at his own studio Greey Studio’s in Pelandaba West koNtuthu.He has worked with many artists such as Madlela Skhobokhobo on the song As’funi Bumbulu which is on the album As’ funi Bumbulu and Soul Jah Luv on the song “Mangoma” which is on the album Ng’ cela Ling’ bambeni album and has worked with artists in Botswana ” Sunshine” the Kwaito star.
A man of many talents is currently working on a new album which will be out this year.In an interview he told the paper that ,” it will consist of more splash songs than love songs since my fans are dancing crowds” .The splash instruments are played by Shelter Matshelela who is based in Victoria Falls.
The 2018 Skyma Awards nominee is a music promoter who has promoted artists like Killer T , Shinsoman , the late SoulJah Love in 2015.He also promoted Dan Tshanda , Patricia Majalisa and in 2016 he worked with John Kafuta , DJ Phat Joe and Welly under PHAB entertainment owned by Philip Wakabikwa.
He has worked with different producers like Khuxxman , Nashville of Rock up studios, Bhebhe of Velocity records and Mjox of Mafletsini studios .He recorded singles that have made waves in the radio stations.
Marketing has been made easier for Gregory as he has a team that markets on social media and also sells cds on different centers in town.In shops like a post office photocopy shop , Velocity records between 3rd and 4th Avenue Joshua Nkomo Road inside Econet shop opposite Barrons.
“My message to pple is that in life what is important is to love each other and not put money first as our first priority because , human connection is more important than Money their pple should always look out for each other n care for the needy n treat each other as equals at all tymz.

“Music is a carrier not a job therefore there is no one who wil do the hard work for them and the main aim in music is to make it an all in one Business educative , informative, creativen n productive in a positive way never should they build a negative path that wil mislead their followers into what God regards as the dark parth and also they should always monetize their work and also plough back to the community”. Gregory challenged other artists on giving back as it is part of showing humanity .
