The Centre For Innvovation and Technology (Cite), is inviting all musicians between the ages if 18 and 35 to take part in the Voice for Change musical project. This project will see artists being required to compose songs on social issues affecting today’s communities.
This move is meant to empower artists who are facing financial crisis due to the on going pandemic, which has seen the ban of live performances and concerts.
The winning artist with the best demo will earn himself or herself USD200 each month next year, a recording contract and music distribution online.
Zenzele Ndebele the founder of Cite specified that the Voices for change is something that they will be working on for the next 15 months and the main agenda is to work with young artists between the ages of 18 and 35.He urged the young artists to grab this opportunity with both hands.
