Gugulethu Monica Moyo who is popularly known by her stage name “Lemoniq” has surprised her fans by dropping a brand new hit single titled “Sofa Silahlane”, a song inspired by love from family and friends.
In an interview “Lemoniq” said she dedicated the song to all the lovers hoping that the hit single “sofa silahlane” is going to play an instrumental role in helping lovers grow their foundation of love.
“Lemoniq” is also known for her collaboration with Mkhathi theatre titled “Ngowam lo” which was released earlier in January this year and is currently being aired mostly by Khulumani FM.
Mr Ngubo who is manager to Gugulethu “Lemoniq” Moyo spoke of the challenges that they faced in preparation for recently released hit single “Sofa Silahlane”. Movement from one place to another was the biggest challenge due to the strict lockdown and schedules at the studio.
“Through the use of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, we have managed to keep our fans satisfied and update”, said Mr Ngubo in a statement. The manager further added that their vision is to spread love to the world through the use of love songs, “we have realized that there’s to much of domestic violence around so we want shun it out”.
In an interview with the artist “Lemoniq” she said they are working on an album that should be ready by the end of this year and passed a message to all the artists that they should keep pushing and at the end they will eventually make it.
