Abisha Petros Dube popularly known as “APD the Boss” a Bulawayo based Hipop artist, who is yet promising a hit track soon,which he believes it’s going to give a huge impact to society.
The young artist who is 21years sets a new target on advising people to unite, forgive as well as loving one another to create a better tomorrow. The track which would be titled “Uxolo” is believed to make huge change especially to the young generation. APD grew up being inspired by South African artists like Duncan, KO, Emtee and Nasty C but never see himself reaching the same level as them because he lived in the rural areas, until doors were opened after relocated to Bulawayo.
Speaking to BANO , the artist said he is used to facing many challenges on recording with some of his producers sometimes delaying mastering the recorded track. ” like yesterday, i went to the studio for recording the competition track but i didn’t manage to do it because he wasn’t at home, on top of that the project must be submitted Monday but did nothing so hey lendlela inzima gazi lami”, he said.
APD “the boss” has managed to come out with other songs like “Umalume uvukile” which he featured Maestro Da Hustler, South African Jay Boy which they also still working on and now collaborating “Born Fire” a Zimbabwean Dancehall artist on the track titled “Liphuma lendaba”.
The young artist is seeing himself acheiving goals by featuring well known Zimbabwean artists like Takura and T Gonzi.
